FAQ

Good questions, straight answers.

Do my customers need an app?

No. The tag works with the phone's built-in NFC reader. A customer holds their phone to the tap ring and your Google review page opens in the browser.

Which phones does it work with?

Most modern iPhones and Android phones with NFC switched on. On iPhone, the phone should be unlocked with the screen on; tap the banner that appears. Customers tilt the top of the phone towards the tap ring, because that is where most phones read NFC.

Is this allowed by Google?

Revone only makes it easier to reach your Google review page. Asking customers for reviews is normal. What Google does not allow is paying or rewarding people for reviews, writing reviews yourself, or only asking customers you expect to be happy. Revone does none of these, and our terms ask you not to either. Google decides which reviews it shows, and we can't control that.

Will Revone get me more reviews or a better rating?

We don't promise any number of reviews or any rating. Revone removes the hassle of finding your review page; your customers decide whether to write a review and what to say.

What do I pay, and when?

₹1,499 + GST for the kit (1 crystal standee + 2 NFC cards), which includes 12 months of service. There is nothing more to pay in the first year. From month 13 it is ₹299/month + GST per business by UPI AutoPay, covering all your tags. See pricing.

What happens if I stop paying after the first year?

The tags work through Revone's link service, so taps need an active plan. If a payment is missed, taps keep working for a 7-day grace period. After that, the tags show a "temporarily paused" page until the account is paid up. The hardware is yours to keep.

Can someone change where my tag points?

No. Each tag is locked after we set it up, so nobody can re-write it to a different link. Your Google review link lives on our side, so if it ever changes we update it without touching the tag.

What does the warranty cover?

If a tag develops a manufacturing or chip fault within 10 years of delivery, we replace it free. Tags need an active Revone plan to open your review page. The warranty doesn't cover external damage such as cracks, breakage, heat or liquid, or tampering. Full details are in our terms.

Where do you work?

We're starting in North Goa, then the rest of Goa, with Kerala next. If you're elsewhere, join the list and we'll tell you when we reach you.

Do you collect my customers' data?

We don't collect customers' names, numbers or Google accounts. For each tap we record limited technical details (time, tag, browser/device type and a daily-changing code made from the IP address) to count taps. See our privacy policy.
